Culture Night 2025 – Wild Songs at Coole

The National Parks and Wildlife Service invite you to celebrate Culture Night 2025 with an immersive, intimate concert in the magical setting of Coole Park Nature Reserve, featuring songs by Brian Patrick Nally, plucked from hollows, meadows, and cracked beauty of the Burren. No curtain. No stage. Just the bare song under the trees of Coole, when the shadows stretch long and the sun dips low. Bring a blanket. Bring a flask. Or bring nothing at all. The rest is already waiting.

Brian’s performance will weave together nature, music and place, offering a unique evening of song that celebrates the spirit of the region. Much of the work carries a quiet nod to his experience with Burrenbeo Trust, an organisation who, like the National Parks and Wildlife Service, is also engaged in the stewardship of the Burren’s remarkable natural and cultural heritage. A short guided walk through the trees to tune your ears to nature’s sounds will precede the concert and will lead you to the outdoor performance venue.

Please note that the outdoor venue will be on grass but will be accessible for wheelchairs. Should the weather decide to be uncooperative, the concert will be diverted indoors. Please also note that no dogs, except assistance dogs, are permitted at this event.

Culture Night 2025 takes place across Ireland on Friday 19th September.
