WORLD WETLANDS DAY 2024

Events in the Park: World Wetlands Day 2nd Feb 2024
Join our NPWS conservation and guide staff on a free guided walk and bird-spotting event this Friday 2nd February to learn about the ecological importance of our wetlands and the biodiversity they support. Coole Turlough is of international significance due to its unique habitat and is a valuable location for our wetland bird species as well as winter visitors.
Come along and see what you can spot! Telescopes and binoculars will be provided, but bring your own if you have them.
Guided walk starts at 2.30pm from the Visitor Centre.
Not suitable for very young children.
Please note only assistance dogs are permitted at our events.
