Heritage Week 2025 takes place between 16th – 24th August and we have some great free events lined up!
Sunday 17th Aug: Come and join in some of the traditional children’s games that Lady Gregory’s grandchildren would have played! Meet us in the Walled Garden at 11am.
Tuesday 19th Aug: An evening walk and talk about Lesser Horseshoe Bats in Garryland (back entrance to Coole Park Nature Reserve) with Kate McAney from Vincent Wildlife Trust.

Thursday 21st Aug: Drop in to our Visitor Centre at 11am and learn how to make your own zoetrope or thaumatrope – some of the earliest forms of motion pictures, that can be used creatively to learn about the natural world.
