Mid-term at Coole Park
All events are free of charge, weather dependent, and start from Coole Park Visitor Centre. Guide dogs only please. No booking is required for any of this programme. We look forward to welcoming you to Coole Park.

Coole Park Visitor Centre & Tea Rooms Opening Times 2019 Coole Park Visitor Centre is open daily from 10:00 - 17:00 until the end of September. Tea Rooms are open daily from 10:30 - 18:00. Heritage Week in Coole 2018 events
There is something for everybody for Heritage week in Coole. Our ever popular Bat Walk with NPWS Ranger Raymond Stephens will be held again for Heritage Week. Open Your Eyes to Nature
Our weekly summer event 'Open your eyes to Nature' will return with our first event on Wednesday 11th July. This is a great way for kids to learn more about nature around them in the idyllic setting of Coole Park. Each week will be different- you could be learning about Trees, Butterflies and Moths, Pond Dipping, Flowers, Bug Hunts, Animal Tracking, Traditional Skills as well as Arts and Crafts. Magic of Coole Walk
On Sunday 3rd June at 3pm we will have a walk in Coole. Come along to experience the mysterious landscape that inspired Yeats to write some of his most famous poems, in particular, ‘The Wild Swans at Coole’. This free guided walk will incorporate history, folklore, poetry and nature. Starting from Coole Visitor Centre the walk will last approximately an hour and a half. No booking is required.
