Join us at Coole Park Visitor Center on Saturday, July 13th for a free guided tour of the turlough landscape here in the nature reserve. A turlough is a seasonal lake and has a unique assemblage of species associated with it. Our NPWS guide will lead this walk to explain all about the geology, hydrology, flora and fauna of the site. Here at Coole Park we are beginning our annual summer programme of events for children. Our 'Open your Eyes to Nature' events will run every Wednesday morning through July and August aiming to increase awareness of and appreciation for the natural world.
