Due to a water supply interruption, the Visitor Centre, Cobblestone Café and toilet facilities at Coole Park Nature Reserve are currently closed to the public. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and hope to re-open as soon as possible.
Coole Park Visitor Centre & Cobblestone Café will be closed to the public tomorrow, Thursday 30th of April, due to a power outage as ESB Networks will be working on electricity supply lines in the area. The park, its carparks and trails will remain accessible to the public, however toilet facilities will be closed. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will be re-opening on Friday as usual.

Step inside our Beastly Laboratory this Halloween to explore the weird and wonderful wildlife that lives in Coole Park. Dare to enter from Thursday 30th October to Sunday 2nd November in our Visitor Centre.
Please note that a section of the walking trails behind the Walled Garden will be temporarily closed to facilitate the removal of invasive species. Please adhere to any signage in place.
We have been made aware of advertisements for a Lantern Festival event in Coole Park. We would like to advise the public that no such event is scheduled or approved to take place in Coole Park. Any official events would be listed on our website www.coolepark.ie or on our social media pages.
Please note that due to the Orange Wind Warning for Galway issued by Met Éireann for Friday 3rd October, Coole Park Nature Reserve and all associated services will be closed for the day. The park will reopen on Saturday 4th October once trails have been checked for any issues.
